Q. What was your goal when you started working with The Princeton Review?

I knew I was going to need some kind of structure in the whole admissions process, otherwise I would get behind and freak out. I also knew that I had no clue what colleges were looking for in essays and whatnot. At the end of the day, I just wanted to get into at least one of my top 5 choices for college

Q. Did The Princeton Review help you achieve your goal? How?

They sure did. They made the process seem more manageable and broke down the steps. They also provided extremely helpful counseling regarding my essays and helping me setup a successful senior year. At the end of it all, I ended up getting accepted into Cornell which I know wouldn't have happened without the guidance and advice from Princeton Review.

Q. What stood out most about your Princeton Review experience?

It really meant a lot to be able to talk one on one with my counselor. I was also not expecting my counselor to be so normal and easy to talk to. She went out of her way to make sure the conversation was personal and would even spend extra time to make sure I was squared away.

Q. Are there any additional comments you'd like to share with us?

I really did enjoy this whole experience. I would recommend it to anyone in the college process.

Q. What was your goal when you started working with The Princeton Review?

My goal was to use the advice I got from Princeton Review to create a unique profile about myself. I was concerned about how to portray my experiences in high school with the best light, so I was really looking for advice to demonstrate my growth through high school and the potential I have for college!

Q. Did The Princeton Review help you achieve your goal? How?

Yes, definitely! The advice I received on my essays was incredibly helpful, and I believe that my essays were the key for my admission. Being able to send drafts of my college essays to my advisors allowed me to understand how my writing portrayed me as a person to others.

Q. What stood out most about your Princeton Review experience?

I really appreciated the ability to contact my advisor whenever I came up with new questions. She was extremely willing to help me delve into the application process, even outside the scheduled meeting times.

Q. Are there any additional comments you'd like to share with us?

Thank you for all your help getting through this college application season!

Q. What was your goal when you started working with The Princeton Review?

We were looking for general direction with the college application process. We needed help with finalizing a list of schools that matched our son's interests as well as his qualifications. We also wanted expert input in preparing his applications.

Q. Did The Princeton Review help you achieve your goal? How?

Absolutely! We had a great connection with our son's counselor. She was extremely knowledgeable about the schools he was interested in as well as the nuances of how to approach the common app and supplemental applications. They optimized his credentials, activities, service, etc. so he presented a solid application and representation of himself to his list of prospective schools.

Q. What stood out most about your Princeton Review experience?

What was unexpected was the level of true personal attention he received. In a short time, they got to know our son and his goals. They were honest in approach, pointing out weaknesses and strengths, gave advice on how to improve in certain areas and how to highlight strengths. That objectivity was critical. We may have approached the process differently otherwise and missed opportunities to present the best application possible.

Q. Are there any additional comments you'd like to share with us?

It was a lot of hard work! Our son's Counselor encouraged that effort, and the results speak for themselves: applied to 12 schools, received admission to all of his safe and target schools as well as a reach school, was wait listed at one reach, and denied at two reach schools. He also received multiple scholarship offers, including one at his school choice. We truly believe these results were achieved with the assistance of Princeton Review, and we would recommend this service to anyone new to the current college admission process.

I was torn between Rice and Yale, and came out with clarity that perhaps Rice would be a better fit. I also received a general idea of what aspects of my application stood out, which I was able to emphasize during the application process. Clearly it worked out well because next year I'll be attending my dream schooland won't be paying a single cent! Thank you for providing such spectacular services, I couldn't have asked for more. ”
